Sedar
National Council of Jewish Women Sedar, WIN Foundation was represented by Heather and Peggy

Thank you to the committee at National Council of Jewish Women for their Interfaith Seder which was held on April 7. About 100 women attended, some of whom are WIN Foundation members. An interesting and enjoyable time was had by all. Jewish Educator, Frances Prince, led the women through an explanation of the story of the Exodus from Egypt by the Jewish people and a “taste and talk” experience of the symbols of this very important festival in the Jewish calendar. In Jewish homes every year, people sit down with family and friends to read and talk about this seminal event in Jewish History. There are many symbols on the table, most of which can be eaten or drunk. As Frances pointed out, the seder is designed to ignite interest and questions from the children, and to be wonderful, memorable experience for all.
